Integrated Engineering 06A 1.8T Stage 2 Stroker Short Block

When building an engine, we know that is can be a time consuming project, not to mention plenty of labor. Using our many years of experience with the 1.8T engines, we are now offering assembled short blocks to make your engine build a breeze. We have developed the ideal combination of parts for these engines using our in-house Superflow SF-902 engine dyno. The stage 2 short block is a 2008CC stroker, using the 2.0T FSI forged crankshaft. This combination has been proven to gain 7-10% of power throughout the powerband, compared to a 1.8L, depending on the setup. These are all 06A late style blocks with manual transmission crankshafts installed. The stage 2 short blocks are rated for use up to 650BHP.

Block machining features
Cleaned to remove grease and dirt
Main journals are align honed with ARP studs installed
Cylinders are bored and honed with IE torque plate installed
Deck is surfaced
Crankshaft is polished and oil holes are chamfered
Piston rings are file fit
Short block assembled with all clearances checked

Each short block goes through a tedious inspection process before and after machining and assembly.

Included with each block is an engine specification sheet with all measured clearances, 5 quarts of Brad Penn break in oil, and break in instructions.

Each block is painted with black enamel before shipping. The completed blocks are packaged inside a plastic bag with a desiccant pouch to remove any moisture that may accumulate during shipping. They are then bolted into specially made engine shipping crates to ensure there is no damage during shipping. The crates are shipped via FedEx Freight, which is insured to the full value of the crate contents.

Rebuild able engine core is required as good rebuild able engines have become difficult to locate.
